The Kawartha Bakery is a full-service bakery.

We are a family-run business run by Roger and Ann Tanner. Roger is a Master Baker from Bristol, England and been baking since was 15. Ann runs the take away food part of the business and has been in the service business since her 20s.

We also specialize in hand-made Celiac and gluten-free products.

We are located just outside of Lakefield, Ontario, Canada. This is approximately 8 km north of Peterborough, and about a 2 hour drive from Toronto.

Store Hours

Winter hours:
October 1st to April 30th.
Tues. to Sat. 10a.m. til 5p.m (Closed Sunday and Monday)

Summer Hours
May 1st to Sept. 30th
Tues. to Sat. 9.30a.m. til 5.30p.m.
Sundays 11a.m. til 4 p.m. (Closed on Mondays)

We welcome both walk-in customers and large custom orders.
We also offer both short-distance and long-distance deliveries on request.
